Kerama Islands
The Kerama Islands can be reached by ferry from Naha in about one hour. This archipelago consists of more than 20 small and large islands scattered across the East China Sea 40 kilometers west of Naha (southern part of Okinawa Island). The seas are among some of the clearest in the world, making this a popular destination for activities like scuba diving and whale watching.
Directions to the Kerama Islands
To access the Kerama Islands, head to Tomarin, a passenger terminal located in Tomari Wharf in Naha. Ferries and high-speed boats depart Tomarin for the remote islands of Okinawa, including the Kerama Islands.
